Warsaw Average Temperatures

Although summer days in Warsaw are predominantly hot, temperatures tend to take a dive after the sun sets making sweaters an almost absolute necessity. Unless you fancy sliding down a mountain slope with a pair of skis on your feet, Warsaw is not a pleasant city to be in during its winter season: simply put, conditions are not only wet and cold, they also tend to be rather dull and gloomy. The emergence of spring though quickly restores conditions: poppies, cornflowers and daisies are in full bloom, and the tapestry of colours and scents is truly a treat for the senses. Autumn is also very pleasant: the weather still retains its mildness and crowds are noticeable mainly for their absence.
